MAC BETTS After the Fire Lake Gnangara

Born 1932 UK, Arrived in Australia 1970. painter, teacher.

Studies: Fine Art at Kingston-on-Thames, London 1953-57, Studied at Goldsmiths College of Art, London 1957-58.

Betts was senior lecturer in painting and drawing at Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria from 1959-67 years and Senior Lecturer and Course Coordinator in painting and drawing at Curtin University in Perth from 1970-81. Betts has traveled extensively throughout Spain and Northern Africa and exhibited regularly throughout Australia and internationally.
